Do I need Orientation?

Yes, orientation gives a student direction on campus. You’ll know how to take advantage of programs and services. You’ll understand procedures as well as leave with your test results and a first semester educational plan. See counseling for EXEMPTIONS

What is the Assessment Test?

Assessment identifies present levels of skills in English, Math and Reading. English as a Second Language (ESL) testing is also given for non-native speakers of English.

Set appointment for Testing

After application wait one business day and then call Orientation & Assessment at 909-384-8955 or 384-8959. For the Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) walk into the Financial Aid office for a Referral Slip (AD/SS-106). Testing may take up to 3 hours.

Are you Exempt?

You may be exempt if:

• You hold an Associate’s degree or higher.
• You Scored 3 or higher on Advance Placement Tests.
• You have Proof of Testing at another community college (Math Minimum 2yrs old).
• You are attending to maintain a certificate or licensure for employment.
• You have completed a pre-requisite course.
• You will attend for Personal enrichment
