This certificate is designed to prepare students with
training in the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) or Heli-Arc
welding processes.
Students working for certificates must have a basic knowledge of arithmetic, reading and writing in order to learn and work in the occupations they select.
Students must complete ALL the REQUIRED and ONE of the RESTRICTED ELECTIVE COURSES plus pass the GTAW Welding Certificate in either aluminum or stainless steel. This certification can be issued in conjunction with SBVC and the City of San Bernardino.
