The mission of the Associate Degree Nursing Program at San Bernardino Valley College is to provide a comprehensive, quality instructional program to assist students to achieve their vocational goal of becoming Registered Nurses.
The Nursing Department offers a sequence of courses leading to an Associate of Science degree with a major in nursing. Students learn to function in a variety of health care settings and assist patients, through the nursing process, attain or maintain their optimum level of wellness. Graduates are eligible to take the national licensing exam and become licensed as a Registered Nurse in California.
Learning activities are conducted on the San Bernardino Valley College campus and in local hospitals and community agencies.The program is accredited by both the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and the California Board of Registered Nursing.
