The Mathematics Department offers free Pre-Assessment Workshops covering topics from Arithmetic through Beginning Algebra. These workshops occur during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
Consider the importance of preparing for the Assessment test! If it has been a number of years since you last took a math class, or if you have just forgotten some of your basic math skills, you are likely to score below your potential when you take the Assessment test. If you get a low test score you will be stuck with that result for 2 years* and will not be allowed to register into the math class that you need. You can save yourself time and money by being properly placed, and avoid having to take remedial math classes.
To register for a workshop, please visit the STEM Events webpage. You will need to provide your name and student ID number when registering. If you have questions or need more information contact Natalie Minucci at (909) 384-8655.
If you would like more information on the assessment test, please go to the Assessment page.
