This certificate is designed to provide students with the fundamentals for entry-level employment in the warehousing field.
Courses cover overall warehousing and distribution operations, software systems, safety issues, and forklift and other industrial powered trucks. Training includes operation, inspection, and basic maintenance. Upon successful completion of the Forklift Operation and Certification course, students will receive certification in accordance with CalOSHA to operate forklifts.
Students working for certificates must have a basic knowledge of arithmetic, reading and writing in order to learn and work in the occupations they select.
