This certificate is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in dietetics.
Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will be able to assist dieticians in the provision of food service and nutritional programs and in departments of health care, community care, school food services, county health and community directed programs in nutritional services for the elderly, infants or children.
Students working for certificates must have a basic knowledge of arithmetic, reading and writing in order to learn and work in the occupations they select.
