The Culinary Arts Degree/Certificate is designed for students who are interested in entering middle-management positions within the restaurant/hospitality industry.
For the associate degree, students must complete all requirements for the certificate with a Grade of C or better plus the general breadth requirements for the Associate of Arts Degree (minimum total of 60 units).
Students working for certificates must have a basic knowledge of arithmetic, reading and writing in order to learn and work in the occupations they select.
