Student Services at SBVC are designed to support student learning, beginning with the admission process through the completion of a Certificate, Associate Degree or transfer to a 4-year institution. Student Services are under the direction of the Vice President of Student Services.

There are two major Divisions: 1) Career College, CalWORKs & Workforce Education and 2) Counseling and Matriculation, each lead by a Dean.  Student Life and Government, Enrollment, Financial Aid, Student Health Services, Records, Counseling, CAHSEE Program, Career Services and Job Placement, DSP&S, EOPS/CARE, Assessment and Matriculation, Transfer Services, Outreach and Recruitment, STAR Program and other special services designed for those who qualify are all covered under Student Services.
