The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is designed to help students find solutions for any issue or concern that affects their desire for an education. It is designed to give assistance to students by students. The program is staffed by Human Service students who undergo classroom training to develop skills at problem solving. Also, Student Assistants are trained to listen, encourage and to offer support to their peers. The Student Assistance Program provides community and campus resources and referrals to all students and their family members. Student Assistants strive to locate no-cost or low-cost services. The student Assistance Program is not a counseling service. Confidentiality is absolute.
