The outreach program promotes interest and provides an awareness of the instructional programs and support services offered at San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC). A variety of innovative strategies and approaches will be used to reach and recruit a diverse group of prospective students, within and beyond the college's service area. The outreach program will integrate marketing, student government, student services and instructional departments to create a comprehensive student centered program. As a result of these outreach efforts SBVC will be viewed as a viable, accessible institution that is responsive to prospective students, area businesses and our community.

Professional Staff

Student Ambassadors

Trained Student Ambassadors under the direction of professional staff work together in providing SBVC information at the college's service area high schools. Special events such as college nights, career fairs, and community events are also attended by professional staff and by Student Ambassadors.

Requests for SBVC Information

The Outreach Office serves as the central location for informational requests regarding SBVC's programs, support services and admissions requirements/procedures. You may call (909) 384-8966 or submit your request to Ms. Margaret Gonzales, Outreach Secretary at magonzal@valleycollege.edu. Outreach staff will respond to the requests by either sending the requested information, or forwarding the request to the appropriate college departments.

On-Campus Tours

Tours are conducted by Student Ambassadors highlighting the campus facilities, programs and services. Individual or group tours of ten (10) are available Monday through Thursday starting at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m. High schools requesting campus tours need to call (909) 384-8966 or email Ms. Margaret Gonzales, Outreach Secretary at magonzal@valleycollege.edu.
