The mission of Institutional Research is to offer an empirical perspective of the campus and the surrounding community for all interested people and organizations by providing data from qualitative and quantitative studies to   

•   Support academic achievement and collegial interaction.
•   Provide data to supporting dialogues for student learning outcomes    
          (addressing both instruction and student services), campus climate,
          learning communities, etc.
•   Support the accreditation process.
•   Support proposal writing.
•   Support grants acquisition and program evaluation.
•   Promote community understanding and involvement in campus life.

The Office of Research and Planning has a commitment to satisfy all expressed and anticipated research needs of the campus community in effort to contribute to a well informed populous.
