Welcome to the Valley College Transportation Center Website. Valley College and the Transportation Center are located in the City of San Bernardino, California. Due to their strategic locations, San Bernardino and the Inland Empire continue to see rapid growth in the Transportation Industry sectors.

Coincident with this industry growth is an increased demand for well-trained Transportation Industry employees. Valley College's Transportation Center is meeting this growing demand by providing industry responsive training that meets the Transportation Industries growing needs for ready to work new employees, and for advanced training for current employees.

The Transportation Center is located off campus in the heart of Alliance California, where it is estimated over 10,000+ Transportation Industry jobs will be developed in a few years. Transportation Center training programs are preparing individuals to be ready to work in the majority of these ten thousand plus new jobs moving into the City of San Bernardino and Alliance California.

In collaboration with the region's employers, the Transportation Center is offering an extensive package of for college credit and fee based training programs in the following areas.

  • Heavy Duty Truck and Bus Technology
  • Truck and Bus Driving (under development)
  • Railroad Operations
  • Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics
  • Advanced Transportation Technologies such as Alternative Fuels Training
  • Forklift Certification
  • Forklift Train the Trainer (for employers only).
  • Customized fee based training based upon employers' special requests
  • Training for High School juniors and seniors
  • Job Placement
