 Chemistry |
The Chemistry program is designed to meet the diverse needs of
students served by the community college: (a) students majoring in
chemistry or related sciences, (b) students majoring in one of the
health sciences, and (c) students fulfilling the general education
science requirement.
Courses in the Chemistry Department are taught with a strong emphasis on
the laboratory. In the advanced classes, students receive hands-on
experience with a wide variety of instruments.
Students planning to transfer to a four-year institution and major in
chemistry should consult with a counselor regarding the transfer process
and lower division requirements. |
