Charge:
Charge is to inform, educate, provide resources and training to the campus community related to embracing the diversity of our faculty, staff and students.
When we speak of embracing diversity we are referring to embracing the experiences, ideas and talents that people of varied backgrounds bring to Valley College. Diversity adds value to the work place by providing a rich complementary pool of resouces from which all campus constituences may draw.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the FSDC is to serve as catalyst for dicussion and dialogue related to campus diversity and to insure that these discussions are inclusive, relevant and on going.
