| Charles D. Obershaw |
Chuck Obershaw is CEO of Chuck Obershaw Toyota in San Bernardino. He was
a member of the SBVC Class of 1950 and was recently named one of 23 "living
legends" in the community at the Assistance League of San Bernardino's 36th
annual Headdress Ball. Chuck is past president of the San Bernardino Motor
Car Association, past president of the San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce,
and past president of the Air Force Association. A graduate of San Bernardino
High School, Chuck enjoys giving college scholarships to local high school
graduates. "Those who have prospered from the system should put back into
the system," says Chuck. His dealership received the "Import Auto Dealer
of Distinction" Award from the Sports Illustrated American International
Auto Dealers Association. He served in the 187th Paraglider Infantry in
the Pacific during World War II and received the Patrick Henry Medallion
for Patriotic Contributions. Chuck and his wife Shelby reside in San Bernardino
and have five children. |
