Web Registration Instructions
Students: If you experience any difficulty registering and need assistance, please call Admissions and Records at (909) 384-4401. Admissions and Records hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Web Registration Instructions
  1. Go to http://www.valleycollege.edu.

  2. Log on:

    If your password need to be reset for any reason, please contact the Help Desk at (909) 384-8988 and give them your student identification (ID) number.

    New and Returning Students:
    1. Your login is your student email address. It is in the form of firstname.lastnameXXX@student.sbccd.net. Where firstname is your official first name (no nicknames), lastname is your official last name, and XXX is the last 3 digits of your student identification (ID) number. Your student identification (ID) number and email address should appear on your Statement of Residency.
    2. Your initial PIN is your date of birth in an MMDDYY format.
    3. The computer system will not allow you to use your date of birth more than once when you log onto the system. You must create password immediately.
    Continuing Students:
    1. Enter your student email address (with or without @student.sbccd.net) and password to gain entry.
  3. Click on the "SBVC - Register for classes." link. [Note: Remember that you may not access the registration link until on or after your priority date.]

  4. Click on the semester that you wish to register for.

  5. Click on "Add a New Section" to register for your classes.
    1. Use the four-digit reference number found in the printed schedule of classes or click on the "Browse the Schedule of Classes" link to see this information online.
    2. Confirm your selection.
    3. Repeat for all desired classes.

  6. Click on "Drop a Section" if you wish to cancel registration for a class.
    1. Click on the four-digit reference number of the class you want to drop.
    2. Confirm your selection.
    3. Repeat for all desired classes

  7. If desired, click on the Purchase an AS Discount Sticker." [Note: Once this purchase is made, the sale cannot be cancelled through Web Registration.]

  8. If desired, click "Pay now with your credit card." Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
    1. Enter your card number and expiration date and click "Continue."
    2. Confirm that the information submitted is correct, then click "Pay."
    3. If your payment is successful, your account balance will be adjusted accordingly.
    4. Click "Return to Registration."

  9. If you didn't pay by credit card, you must fill out the fee payment coupon (available here) and either drop it in the registration drop box on campus or send it to:

    ATTN: Admissions Office
    701 South Mt. Vernon Avenue
    San Bernardino, CA 92410

  10. Once all transactions are complete, exit Web Registration by clicking on the "Finished" link. Your registration will be created.
    1. Click "Registration Statement" to view your statement. A new window will open.
    2. Print a copy of your statement at this Time.
    3. Close this window.

  11. Log out of Web Registration by clicking on the "log out" link.

If paying by check or money order, we must receive your payment within 3 working days during the registration period or you may be dropped from all classes selected in this Web session. When dropped from class for non-payment, your space becomes available to other students who want to register for this class.
