Apply & Register » High School / College Concurrent Enrollment Program

Procedures
Plan Ahead: Students should begin the process for concurrent enrollment at least one month before the semester or session of attendance. To enroll concurrently at the college, follow these procedures:
  1. Meet with high School counselor or principal to:
    1. Develop an educational program plan relating to the instructional program at the college, and

    2. Select appropriate courses after the appropriate prerequisites have been met.
  2. Request an official High School Transcript from the school registrar.

  3. Complete the upper portion of the Concurrent Enrollment Petition, found on our Form and Application page or at the high school counselor's office.

  4. Obtain parent or guardian's signature on the Concurrent Enrollment Petition.

  5. Complete an Application for Admission to the college (found on our Form and Application page).

  6. Return to the Admissions Office of the College:
    1. Official High School Transcript.

    2. Concurrent Enrollment Petition.

    3. Application for Admission.
  7. Upon approval, an assessment test is required for students taking English and Mathematics courses.

  8. Counseling services are available prior to the beginning of each semester.

  9. Register during established priority time using the telephone or web registration systems for the respective colleges as follows:
  10. Students may only register for courses approved on the Concurrent Enrollment Petition. Students may be dropped from classes not on the authorization form.
Requested college course loads over 11 units will be reviewed and approved on an individual basis.
